The Awesomatix SCC chassis is a work of art and a game changer. incredibly popular for high grip and or high heat conditions, yet still excellent in low grip, this chassis has sharper turn in than a carbon chassis and better exit steering than the RAF alloy, stock carbon chassis or any aftermarket hard carbon chassis. The process required to make the SCC is highly complex, spanning across two factories and 8 different processes. It is not easy, nor cheap to manufacture with a high chance of failure during manufacturing. This is why these SCC chassis' are often out of stock and why many other manufacturers do not attempt to make a steel chassis. This is what sets Awesomatix apart from the rest, willing to put in the effort to design ground breaking and genuinely useful upgrades, not simply hop ups designed to create revenue.

SCC - Steel Chassis Conversion set

Following months of rigorous testing & development, the Steel Chassis Conversion set is here! 

Made of 1.2mm hardened spring steel, the chassis combines previously unmatched lower center of gravity and excellent flex characteristics.

Extensive refinement of the production process enabled the required chassis flatness and hardness to be achieved. 

The result is an incredibly long-lasting chassis that will outlast its carbon and aluminium counterparts due to being more wear resistant and able to retain adequate flatness for longer.

The thinner chassis design requires specifically machined screws, redesigned bulkheads allowing the dampers to be spaced up to recover some lost up-travel and updated lower bumper support molding. These items are all included in the Steel Chassis Conversion Set.

2. 07.07.2025 - C01B-RS running change - P12X pin hole has been removed from C01B-RS to improve durability under hard impact.
