MIGHTY GRIPPER is a world renowned traction compound. the MG orange is the grippiest compound in the Mighty Gripper range. it is an oily compound and because of this it requires more time to cook into the tyre and a wipe off procedure. the following is suggested when using MG Orange:

1. apply thin layer
2. cook into tyre at 80 to 100celcius for around 20 minutes. temperature set warmer to depends on ambient temp of the day. do not wrap tyre in a cloth as this defeats the purpose of using a compound. compounds need time to react to the rubber tyre
3. rotate tyre once at around 5 minutes
4. wipe off excess after 20 minutes. wipe the tyre vigorously leaving not damp or wet spots and wipe down the inside of the tyre warmer cups as as well
5. reapply warmers until you are ready to race. leaving warmers on for more than 20 minutes is ok

 MG Orange seems to prefer a high temp (80-100C) for the first 5 minutes then reduce as per below suggestions.

As a rule of thumb, set the tyre warmer to the following temp settings for 21.5T:

• 20 Celsius or under and overcast 100 Celsius 
• 20c or under and sunny; 80 to 100c
• 24 to 28 and sunny 80c
• 28 to 32c and sunny or overcast; 70 to 80c
• 32c plus; 50c to 75 Celsius depending on time of day, tyre you are using and how hot the asphalt is.
• If your car is squirmy for the first minute, driving unstable on track then settles, this may be a sign you have over heated the tyres on the warmer, reduce warmer temp by 10c and observe car behaviour next time on track. continue reducing 5c after this if needed.
