the minus 0.5mm hex hub provides more grip than the standard hex hub but some corner speed is lost if used in an incorrect scenario. slower corner speed will occur if you over grip the car as the car will generate too much grip through the turn and slow the car down. Also, narrow hexes increase tyre wear due to a few factors; scrub radius being changed, more pressure on the tyre.
